In History we are learning about a native American tribe called the Sioux. They were famous for their star quilts made from big patches sewn together. One patch stood for a person. Each patch was different, but each one needed to make a whole quilt. This reminded the people that everyone was important- we may be different from each other but we are all special. These are our interpretations of the star quilt.

Lupines
We read the book Miss Rumphius. She wanted to achieve three things. The first was to travel the world. The second was to have a house by the sea and the third was to make the world a more beautiful place. She did this by planting lots and lots of lupines We decided to paint our own lupines to make our classroom a more beautiful place.
