Credit Union Quiz

On Friday, February 1st students, teachers and parents representing all the schools in Skibbereen area converged on Rossa College for the Annual Skibbereen Credit Union Quiz. Congratulations and well done to Kilcoe NS Junior Quiz Team. The Junior Team members were Dáire, Denis, Shane and Caoimhe. . The Junior team had to answer ten rounds of questions with six questions in each round 

At the final result the under 11s were joint 2nd  with 3 other schools. We had to answer one tiebreaker question about the length of the Amazon River. 

Well done to them  for acquitting themselves so well and for finishing 3rd against such stiff competition. The children put in a lot of hard work in the run-up to the Quiz, and their efforts definitely paid off.
