Christmas Crafts

We were very busy in the weeks coming up to Christmas sewing some Christmas decorations. Fourth class sewed Christmas trees, angles and stockings. Second and third sewed Christmas trees, Santa Claus and presents.

Congratulations to Mya in fourth class on winning 1st prize in the Christmas art competition at Ballydehob Christmas Art and Craft fair recently.

Ceol an Gheimhridh qualifier

Congratulations to Tom who has qualified for the Munster Ceol an Gheimhridh Finals in the Irish singing category. 

Credit Union Art

Well Done to Abbey and Anna prizewinners in the Credit Union art competition entitled My Wish is....They recently attended a prize giving ceremony in Skibbereen Credit Union where they received their prize had an opportunity to see their art work on display. 

Car survey

We were learning about Data in maths so we headed out to complete a survey on the different colour cars that passed our school over ten minutes. Back in the classroom we used our results to make a bar graph. 

Anna dancing awards

K'nex Day

K'nex Day was great fun. We made many wonderful creations using k'nex pieces. 

MS Readathon

We participated in MS Readathon during the month of October and read hundreds of books. 

Lá Gaeilge

We held a Lá Gaeilge in our school recently where everyone had to make an effort to speak Irish for the day. In the morning we played many Irish Games like Bingó, Snap and memory all through the medium of Irish.
