Maths Week Jumping Maze

We had create fun marking out and solving the jumping maze. Well done to Meabh who was the first to solve it. 

Nature Walk- Sycamore Tree

Today we went on a nature walk to study the sycamore tree.

First we made sketches of the tree...

Next we took some bark rubbings.

We gathered samples of leaves and helicopters.

And took notes of anything else we spotted around the trees.

Signs of Autumn

We took part in the Twitter project- Signs of Autumn last week. Some great examples of Autumn nature were brought in from home.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is in school all this week. Every evening we get a chance to go to the Halla and look at the wonderful selection of books on offer.
