Bronze Age

We are learning about the Brozne Age in History and completing projects on the Bronze Age into our scrap books.

Ailbhe brought us in a rock sample with copper clearly visible in it.

Ned brought in some samples of bronze nails. 

A bronze bird that Ailbhe made using the traditional methods they would have used to make bronze tools and weapons during the Bronze Age.

Sycamore Tree Projects

Maths Week Jumping Maze

We had create fun marking out and solving the jumping maze. Well done to Meabh who was the first to solve it. 

Nature Walk- Sycamore Tree

Today we went on a nature walk to study the sycamore tree.

First we made sketches of the tree...

Next we took some bark rubbings.

We gathered samples of leaves and helicopters.

And took notes of anything else we spotted around the trees.

Signs of Autumn

We took part in the Twitter project- Signs of Autumn last week. Some great examples of Autumn nature were brought in from home.
